If not, here is how you can know...
1. Realize that you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God..." (Romans 3:23)
2. Realize that a price must be paid for your sin.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
3. Realize that Jesus paid the price!
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
4. Ask Christ to save you.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
If you would be willing to turn to Christ in repentance and faith, pray this simple prayer of salvation:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I deserve to go to Hell. But you said you would save me if I would call upon you. Please take away all my sins, dear Lord, and take me to Heaven when I die. Please come into my heart and save me. Thank you for saving me! Help me now to live for you, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Everlasting life is ours when we receive Christ as our
personal Saviour.
The Lord Jesus said in John 10:28 "...I give unto them eternal life; and they
shall never perish..."
1. Share your new found faith with your family and friends.
Acts 16:31-33 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
2. Identify with Christ through believer's baptism and become part of a local, Bible-believing church.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
